News, reviews, thoughts, career advice, and humor for professional Video / Film Colorists & Finishers. Delivered Sundays. Curated by a professional color grader and the CEO of MixingLight.com.
Last week was the 14th Anniversary of this weekly Newsletter!
I guess it explains how we got to Issue DXCII. It’s all about consistency. And having an amazing wife – who tolerated 14 years of lost Saturdays to this effort – was key.
Thank you, my Zuite.
As my Newsletter Anniversary gift to her, I’m now writing these on Wednesday or Thursday. And I now have a team that handles the final formatting and scheduling, freeing up more time. It’s strange and awesome to have my weekends back!
And a huge thank you to you, my reader.
Many of you have been with me this whole time. I hope newer readers will stay with me for another 14 years!
And, of course, thank you to the Mixing Light members who now support this effort.
I appreciate all of you.
Change of subject…
If you run across interesting stories about the production and post production of the Summer Olympics, send the link my way!
Hit reply to any Newsletter, drop the link, and add a sentence or two about what you found interesting in the story. I’ll be sure to credit you.
Have a great day.
Happy Grading!
I’ll see you next Sunday.
Sincerely,
Pat Inhofer Chief Photon Wrangler, Publisher MixingLight.com
