How to Find Ungraded Shots in DaVinci Resolve

How To Be Absolutely Sure That You Color Corrected All Of Your Shots

March 13, 2013

If you are color correcting a long timeline in DaVinci Resolve then how can you be sure you didn't miss a shot? Learn how to never miss a shot again.

If you grade a lot of long form your often-handed projects with 800, 900 or maybe even a 1000 or more shots.  Over the course of your grading, it’s understandable that you might miss grading a shot or two – especially if they’re very short shots – it happens to the best of us.  When you miss grading a shot this can lead to continuity issues or worse – an irritated client.

If you’re using DaVinci Resolve 9 there is a handy feature that among other things lets you sort your timeline so you can easily see any shots that you might have accidentally skipped over.
