Damage Control – DSLR Music Video Case Study
The time has come and the music video that kicked off this whole series has been released and there for can be shared with you guys!
The music video was shot by an amazing photographer and director Danny North. I think it would be great to start off by looking at his photography work here.
Danny has an amazing eye and beautiful taste in looks and grading as you can see!
Now to move on to the history of this job. Danny was filming the footage of the band for fun while shooting concert stills. They have been friends for many years so he thought it would be great to grab some memories while touring.
This means he was running the camera in the best profile for shooting stills and the video was just an after thought. Another fun bonus was that he accidentally cut the video files at 60fps so it has quite a video feel.
