How to Build a Vintage ‘Look’
With Instagram and the world of photo and video processing apps being mentioned more and more in our grading suites I thought it would be a good idea to share my approach to building a ‘vintage look’. There are many styles of vintage looks out there but for us to emulate.
But in my grading suite, low contrast and color washes seem to be what clients are expecting.
I’ll also be introducing DaVinci Resolve’s YSXF controls that many people might not have used before! And they’re terrific for creating this kind of ‘washed’ look.
