Your clocks have jumped ahead one hour this Sunday morning!

For most of us in the US, that is.

I’m also wondering if I should start a new section of the Newsletter to separate out the Machine Learning and Generative AI stories?

Email me, tell me what you think. I don’t think I can ignore it as a post-professional. If you agree, what should I name that section?

Artificially (un)Intelligent is the first thing that pops to my mind.

Anywho, let’s keep this thing moving…

Happy Grading!

Sincerely,

“What I am offering goes beyond training into education in the principles of colour science as applied to image systems in general – and specifically cameras, displays, and colour grading systems.

You’ll gain a deep understanding of the building blocks and the pipelines. The course material is directly applicable to Resolve, Baselight, and other grading and on-set systems. I’ll teach the fundamentals of techniques that are often used without a complete understanding of the big picture.”

Oh, and one more note: “The presenter is Canadian; colour will be spelled with a ‘u.'”

“The night’s biggest winner was Avatar: Fire and Ash, which took home seven awards in total, including the top prize of Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature; Outstanding Character in a Photoreal Feature for Varang; Outstanding CG Cinematography, and the Emerging Technology Award, given to the Kora Fire Toolset.”
