What I Do
Corey began his career in Chicago after studying Digital Cinema at DePaul University. His entry into post-production came through an internship at Radar Studios, a boutique studio on the Chicago River. After gaining valuable experience, he relocated to Los Angeles to join EFILM, a pioneer in Digital Intermediates. Starting in the vault organizing and logging 35mm film, he quickly advanced to color assistant, contributing to major productions including John Carter, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Jurassic World, Batman v Superman, and Men in Black II.
Over the years, Corey built an impressive career in both film and commercials, working at leading studios such as Company 3, Technicolor, Industrial Light & Magic, A52, and now Alter Ego in Santa Monica. His commercial portfolio includes work for global brands like Adidas, Nike, Gatorade, and Beats.
In addition to his creative contributions, Corey has played a key role in developing efficient post-production workflows and partnering with software developers to enhance color grading tools, especially as artificial intelligence becomes more central to the craft. His blend of technical expertise, artistic sensibility, and collaborative spirit continues to push the boundaries of what\’s possible in modern color finishing.
