I spoke about the theory of adding depth earlier in this series but lets take a practical look at executing the theory so you can do this on your footage.

In this insight its time to get stuck into shaping the contrast in our image. I have to admit this is normally my favorite part of the process. Leading the viewer’s eye, making the product or person pop out as best I can and trying to get as much out of our digital negative as possible. I spoke about the theory of adding depth earlier on in this series but let’s take a practical look at doing this to video.
